A euro here, a euro there, sooner or later you're talking real money

A newspaper article estimated Monterosso's damages at 30 million euro. Manuel thinks this is an underestimate and I as well think it might be too early to assess the damage, as most insurance companies haven't even been able to get here yet, but lets do some quick math.
There are 1,522 people in Monterosso at last count - this means children, old women, everybody.
30,000,000/1,522 - we're looking at damages of about 19,710.90 euro a person (or baby).
And it's probably more.
